Yet another art class woodcut.

I always liked the idea that trees could have human-like qualities, even personalities.

Wood, Sharpie.

So one day some friends and I were on a Seattle bus, on our way to this ultra-cool concert. We got to talking about what things we could cook. Someone said they could make noodles, someone else said they could make omelettes. I chimed in.

Another art class woodcut.

In the sixth grade I saw this picture of a man looking down at a street from the top of a gigantic building; the perspective was distorted as if seen through a fish-eye lens. Ever since, it has been one of my favorite images to try and emulate.

Wood, Sharpie.

Photograph of a woodcut I made in art class. This side was meant to depict a city being overtaken by a flood; the other side depicts the aftermath and is named "The Sea."
